KERRIUM AM 718
AMS5662 I UNS N07718 I W.-Nr. 2.4668
KERRIUM AM 718 is a gas-atomized nickel-based superalloy powder developed for additive manufacturing and advanced powder metallurgy applications. Based on the widely used IN718 alloy system, it offers an excellent combination of high strength, fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance, and thermal stability for demanding aerospace and industrial components.
The spherical powder morphology and controlled particle size distribution provide excellent flowability, packing density, and printability in processes such as Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF), Electron Beam Melting (EBM), and Directed Energy Deposition (DED). KERRIUM AM 718 is widely used for aerospace engine components, turbine hardware, energy systems, and high-performance industrial parts requiring reliable mechanical performance at elevated temperatures up to approximately 650°C.
